I'm rewatching "The Sundering" with my younger brother, and at 9:16 there's a sign - the "dye! dye! dye!" one. And it says:
I know we're given the time via number of years in epochs, but are we being given a beginning time to work from in terms of our years??? Like, an our-world-comparable time period for when WFS takes place??? 😱😱 If that sign is accurate, it means WFS takes place (our time) sometime after 1802, though we don't know how long after.
That sign bothers me so much because of that date! That's not how dates work in Aerwiar!!!!
But yeah, maybe that would be the equivalent time period in our world. But without gunpowder. Just blastpowder.
Interesting...
I wonder if that is intentional or not
