Yes, I used Inkarnate, but I had also sketched this out with a Number 2. pencil about half a year before I started on this...

Finding names for all of the cities took 60% of the time LOL Because I also have a language that is part of this world...

The little Celtic decor signs are for cities, towns, and Capitals. (And trollish settlements) The larger banners are for regions...

If you mean what the words mean, most of them have meanings that I have written down... for instance, the Kahdenmar is something along the lines of "the little sea" Hope that makes sense!😁

Well, one day, I plan to write the book series for this 😊

Maps somehow make the story feel more real to me, the more real a person's maps feel the more believable their story generally is...

Like Andrew Peterson's Green Hollows is the same latitude as the Ice Praries 🤣 Hence his story has a more whimsical feel to it...
