Madya Wingfeather: Adventurer Pt. 19

The moment Madya had a plan worked out, she out it into action.

She would go to the Stonekeepers chamber, capture her, and use her as a barganing token to buy her freedom.

Then, she would go search for Janner, and then they would get back to the castle.

Yora's part in the plan was to be the distraction, to lead all the Fangs on board the ship away from where Madya was going.

"You ready?" Madya asked Yora.

Yora made a whining sound that Madya took as a yes.

"Good." Madya slowly opened her cell door, in case it made any creaking sound while being opened.

Luckily, it didn't.

"Let's do this." Madya tld Yora, who ran out onto the deck of the ship. She started to bark, and make a lot of noise, which caught the attention of the Fangs on bored.

It seemed like all the Fangs on bored went to try and catch Yora, but she was such a fast wolf, nobody could catch her.

Madya grinned as she silently made her way up to the Stonekeepers chamber.

Before she opened the door, she decided to look around for a weapon of some sort. Almost the moment she began looking, Madya found a long sword. She recognized it as her sword, and it was layed in a pile of other non-Fang weapons.

As soon as she had her sword sheath strapped back onto her belt, Madya decided to search around in the empty rooms of the ship for anything else that might belong to her. In the first room, one that smelled like rotten totatoes, she found her black cloak. She also found her bow, and her quiver, full of her arrows.

Man, am I lucky.

Madya then hurried back up deck, and took her chances running up to the Stonekeepers chamber. All of the Fangs on board had their backs to her, since Yora was doing such a great job distracting them. She had already bitten one Fang, and had killed another. Madya decided that when she got home, she was definetly keeping Yora.

If I make it home.

Madya silently opened the door to the Stonekeepers chamber, and slipped in. Since it was dark outside, her black cloak hid her while she slipped in.

The Stonekeeper was asleep in a hanging hammock. Madya took that as the perfect moment.

In the morning, the Fangs woke up to find their Stonekeeper dead, and their prisoner escaped.

Yora had jumped overboard once she saw Madya walk out of the chamber. Madya had followed, and they swam to shore, which was not far from their boat.
