Madya Wingfeather: Adventurer. Pt. 9

"Well, we've been searching for days. And now the fangs have attacked." Kalmer said. "What should we do now?"

Kalmer had called the entire family together to the court room, so that they along with the kings advisors, could talk about their next move.

"Well, your majesty," And advisor began. "I recommend that we call the Green Hollows for assistance."

Kalmer considered what he said. "I agree Harold." Kalmer looked at his family. "Does everyone else agree?"

The rest of the family talked amongst themselves. After a few moments Nia spoke up. "Yes, we all agree. But how will we send for help? Those fangs have ships everywhere in the sea."

Leeli looked up. "I could fly Hulwen to Ban Rona. She's super fats when she needs to be, that it'll only take an hour to get there."

Artham shook his head. "Those fangs have got bows. They could shoot you down. We don't need to lose another jewel to the fangs."

"Artham's right." Nia said. "Unless someone will go with you."

Kalmer looked at her. "I'll go with her."

Galya shook her head. "It's too dangerous Kal."

"But it's our best option." Artham pointed out.

Galya sighed. "Alright."

Kalmer jumped up from his throne. "Alright, let's go! The sooner we get there, the sooner we'll get help."

And so the two were off.

"Uhh Janner?"

"Yes Madya?

"We-we're running out of water."

Janner stopped what he was doing.

"And-uh-well I haven't seen much running water since the day-before-yesterday,"

"Hmm. Well, for now, let's just try to stretch the water that we have right now, and make it last as long as possible."

Madya sat next to him. "Ok."

"Keeper! Keeper!" Kalmer burst into the Ban Rona Keep.

Nibbick Bunge, aka the Keeper, stood up.

"High King! What brings you-"

"Fangs have attacked Anniera! We need immediate assistance!"

Gasps erupted from the hall. Everyone in the Keep was surprised at that.

"How many?" Bunge asked.

"Hundreds at least." Kalmer panted. "And it doesn't help that my brother and cousin are missing."

"Janner and Madya?" Nibbick said, worried.

"Yes, Madya is believed to have run away, and Janner went missing when he was looking for her."

"Captain!" Nibbick barked.

A man dressed in a Durgan uniform stood up. "Sir?"

"Get the ships ready. Get all of the men and women suitable for fighting and get 'em on the boats. We set sail for the Shining Isle as soon as possible."

Kalmer smiled. "Thank you Keeper."

Bunge smiled back. "Of course."
