Hey everyone! :)
We've noticed a lot of short posts in General Discussion lately. This is not neccesarily a bad thing, but we would like everyone to make sure that what they're posting is worth the time of others.
We would like you to make sure that what you're posting about is something that people would be interested in reading, and is at least 2 paragraphs long (this is a general rule, because we understand that some interesting ideas are short and don't need to be as long as two paragraghs).
This is mentioned in the rules of the General Discussion category, but I know it can be easy to miss. Spam can be fun at first, but in the long run, it's not being considerate of other people and their time.
While we won't remove posts when this happens sometimes, we will start removing short posts if we believe that it's taking over the forum. if you have something silly to share, feel free to post it in the Thwap Playground, but please make sure you're contributing plenty of thoughtful, reflective posts as well.
Thanks!
Ok!
Sounds good!👍
👍
I feel called out because just the other day I was spamming the POYD chat...
Thank you for that. It was getting hard to sort through the posts...
Sounds good! And I second Hulwen's question.
Okay! Just to clarify: the thwap playground section is for shorter posts and general discussion is more for 2 paragraph long kind of posts?
what about my recent posts? Why weren't those approved?
