Ok, so before I go any further, I want let everyone know that THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR BOOK 1. Are we clear on that? Good! Now let's move ahead...
My question is this: do you guys have any theories/thoughts on why they didn't use the water from the first well on Leeli's lame leg? Even if they had, would it have worked? Are there rules for the way the water works? Is this a plothole?
Would love to hear you guys thoughts on this!
Because they might come across a gargan rockroach 😂 so they might need it then
water from the first well is just so powerful...seriously I can think of many other times they could've used it to make a big difference -- but that might give them too big of an advantage or something? like, now they all know where it is...so technically they could just heal anyone
Like, this was the Maker's gift...so use it only when He calls you to or something...don't use it flippantly
I think maybe they had a conversation we did not see in which Leeli was offered the water when they took Janner to the well, but she, in her kind and caring way, she declined it knowing that Janner was more important and not willing to risk that maybe the water only works for one person once.
I honestly think that either Andrew didn't think of it, or he didn't have them try it with Artham's bottle of it (they had several weeks in the treehouse where they could have done it in peace) simply because if Leeli's leg was not lame it would have taken away from the story. 😄
I think that they probably shouldn’t because it might take away from her light
I guess I never thought of that. I was just too depressed at the end.
😂
"It's worth a try. Anyway, it's going to make a great story."
The books went no further, so we don't know if they did or not!
"Oy don't think it does thaht"
