Personally I think it would be best if it ended on the same note as the books: bittersweet, with them mentioning the first well with hope.

(continuation of comment below, wouldn’t let me post the whole comment for some reason) All in all, this is my favorite episode so far at least in the plot, story, and rewatchability, but it could definitely have been fine tuned more in its pacing. (And the squeablin. Please make the squeeblin brown and fuzzy angel studios!) I gotta say my fav part was Pete insulting the street sign’s mother.

I really loved this episode, probably more so than the previous ones, but that’s also because this episode really starts the actual story going. I was a little bothered by the changes from the book, but I think they did a great job making the storyline still interesting and engaging despite the changes. I enjoyed this episode immensely, however the main thing I was bothered by was that the pacing felt rather fast. Like it didn’t let your mind sit on the scenes for a bit before the next major thing happens. However I get that they’re trying to keep the episodes to 30 minutes, so I guess it’s not a big deal. Another thing was that I felt like they portrayed Janner for my taste just a little too head-over-heels for Sara than I imagined him. In the books it says he thinks her eyes are bright and beautiful, but he was never wanting to go on a legit date. He’s only 12, so I kind of cringed in his conversations with his parents, and Sara. Keep in mind that I am also not that into romance. Take me to the action scenes please! (I did like the part when he was talking out his game plan to give Sara the necklace and she was right behind him😂).

I definitely enjoyed episode two. I hope the show stays relatively true to the book in how certain scenes play out, but they are doing a phenomenal job telling the story. My favorite scene (at least on the first watch😉) was probably the scene with Oscar driving the carriage to collect weapons from dugtown from Gammon and the other people. (that was Gammon, right??) I thought this scene was cool since it showed how Oscar got the weapons for Anklejelly, even though it didn't explain this in the book. My only complaint is probably how the zibzy game took up a big chunk of the episode, when other things could've been explored. But I get this is supposed to keep younger kids' attention, so not really an issue.

I rewatched it recently on the angel studios website and it seemed perfect. (On my computer)

I immensely enjoyed the whole series. The only thing that bothered me was actually in the book Wingfeather Tales, with the stories The Wooing of Sophelia Stupe, and Willow Worlds. I definitely enjoyed these tales, however the thing that bothered me was how they introduced the whole new concept of traveling to other worlds. This wasnt ever canon to the series, but I guess now it is. What bothered me was how they made it canon, but then didn't explore it more at all. So now I'm stuck wondering if I should accept this concept as canon or not. (And also where Sophelia Stupe is and what happened to Podo and Wyle That Creepy Portal Dude.)

The ending of The Wooing of Sophelia Stupe reminded of The Rise and Fall of Mt Majestic's ending. I can't pick a favorite of these tales, I love them all!
