He walks like a shadow that forgot where the light once was. The air around him feels cold despite the heat that forever lives behind his eyes. Village bells once rang in the distance of his memory, a sound now buried beneath silence and regret. Burned embers linger in his thoughts, glowing faintly whenever the wind of the past stirs.

His hands clutch the shard of the Chaos Prism, its fractured glow reflecting in a gaze that no longer trusts mercy. And though power now answers his call, it never quiets the echo of what he lost. If anyone looks closely enough, they might see the hesitation in the moment before he strikes. Could he have changed it? Could one choice have rewritten that night?

The world sees only the vengeance—the storm of stone and chains, the hardened heart, the fury directed at those he once called allies. Not many understand that every step forward drags the weight of yesterday behind it. Save for the rare moment when memory slips through the cracks, when he remembers laughter instead of ashes.

But those moments vanish quickly.

Because in the end, the truth that haunts him most is simple.
