I've never written a poem, so uh, it's not the best. But I liked it enough to not erase it all, does anyone have tips for craeting poetry? And how does this one sound?
Writing and reading: My first poem
Mind overflowing,
With stories of courage,
The soul written down,
With inadequite words.
The pain, the joy,
All laid bare,
On a peice of paper,
As I tug my hair.
My thoughts and feelings,
none of them appealing,
Seen through anothers eyes.
People my own,
A world I call home,
Read by my mind alone.
My greatest wish,
To draw a sword with a swish!
And shout a battle cry!
"For Aslan! Protect!
King reigns!" And more!
Ring in my mind
And I become sore.
Some days,
(The hard ones!)
I wish nothing more.
Than to hide in a book,
My own,
or those,
I have read before.
This is so good! I love it!
Also, I've written some poems (mostly on the terrorization the gnomes were doing, it was during the gnome age when they took the forum over, you weren't a member yet) and I don't think any of them were this good!
