Chapter 16 Sara's Trial 

“Let me go!” screamed Sara as two guards dressed in purpley-silver armor tied her hands and feet together to a silver stone chair in the throne room of the castle. “Let me go!” she screamed again. Or I…I..” 

“Oh you be quiet! The queen hates when her prisoner’s scream. '', said one of the guards, as she tied her to a stone chair. Sara kicked and screamed like a mad toothycow wrangler which only made them tie the knots tighter. The rope burned her as they tied it. 

Then she heard the sound of high heels walking which made her stop screaming to see what made the sound. 

She saw a woman whose face was stone cold and her hair was as black as night. And she wore a small silver crown and walked in. 

“Aren’t you a feisty one?” she said in a cold royal voice, one so cold it made the hairs on Sara's arm stand up. 

“Who are you?” Sara asked while tears of anger and fear stung her eyes. 

“All will be revealed in time, young one.'' The woman said calmly, 

“Janner and the others will come for me.” Sara said boldly. 

“Oh, yes, Janner Wingfeather, you too are quite a thing aren't you, sad really, if anything should happen to him.” The woman said with the same cold voice. 

“You wouldn't.” Sara said in disbelief. 

“Oh yes I would child, but if you stay quiet and don't try anything silly I’ll let him live.” The woman said. 

“Fine..” Sara reluctantly said while the ropes burned her wrists. 

“Splendid, now not another word till the Jewels of Anniera arrive”, the woman said, turning away. 

“You….you liar!” Sara screamed. 

“Liar, that's harsh, I just didn't tell you everything.” the woman said in an innocent voice. 

“Guards give her a gag, I have company to attend to.” she said as she walked away. 

“You'll never get away with this!” Sara screams while her voice was muffled by the gag. 

“Oh child, but I already have.” The woman said with a villainous smile as she looked out one of the castle windows to see a dark black boat, covered with purple Vines and pink shiny crystals docked at the Dark Castle of Darkness.
