Hey here's the next chapter, thank you for all the jokes on my last post they really made me smile😁A big Narnia refence in this one!

Chapter 45 Opal’s Science Experiment
“That's Opal all right!” Janner said, as they all rushed down the street. They were causing quite a scene, as all of the hundreds of people walking by stopped in the middle of the street, to make way for them.
“Of course, it's Queen Opal! Who else has black hair with purple tips and who else needs some sort of secret element that is only found here? And who else is trying to hurt us!?” Kalmar asked hysterically, as he ran for his life and was gasping for air.
“Where are we even going?” Oskar asked, too out of breath to quote from anyone.
“We're going to whichever research center or wherever NASA is to find Opal.” Janner said, regretting not snatching that last crystal before Opal. Then they wouldn't be here in this strange world of strange people, with strange buildings and strange everything else.
They ran across the street, not even looking to see if the little light turned to yellow, almost causing a five car pile up. As they ran across the street, almost every car on the road (which at the time they didn't know it was called a car) honked their horns at them. They didn't pay attention to this, they just kept running which made some people very mad.
“Do you even know where the research center is?” Esben asked. “
“Well.. no but we can find it.” Kalmar said, still running.
“Maybe if I fly I can find it," Artham said, but before he could take
off, Nia grabbed his hand, keeping him on the ground and said, "Do you really think that it's a smart idea to be flying in this strange world? We don't want to draw any more attention to ourselves.” She said sternly and kept running. He kept running as well and agreed that it would have drawn more attention to them, if he had been seen flying.
“So we know at least one of the places that Opal hit was named
NASA, so let's go there.” Janner suggested, becoming more and more doubtful of their plan.
“How do we know she's still there?” Leeli asked, she had been
doing her best to run, but she kept tripping over things so Esben had been carrying her on his back.
“We don't, we don't know at all, if she's going to be there, but it's worth a chance and we don't know the names of any of the other research centers so this is pretty much our only option.” Janner said, wishing that he was back in Aerwiar.
They ran and ran and ran through parks, restaurants, main streets, other streets, water fountains, and they got lost a lot. Finally, they reached a tall building that was all white but had bands of blue and red on it. It had a sign with big 3D letters that were glowing that said NASA in a cool font with a shooting star blazing through it.
“This must be it.” Kalmar said. They were about to walk inside the doors when they noticed that coming from outside a side door, a tall, familiar dark-haired woman was bolting for her life. They turned to look at her and saw that it was in fact Queen Opal.
“That's her, get her!” Janner said, as they ran to try to catch up with Opal. Kalmar was the fastest of all of them so he was leading the pack and Janner wished that he could have been faster like his brother, but he wasn't.
It was an epic race between the Wingfeathers and Opal. Janner noticed that she had something like a test tube tucked in the pocket of her pants. She ran as fast as lightning through the park, as they followed her. She kept turning her head back to look at them chasing her, but she showed no sign of fear on her face.
They all kept chasing Opal, even though there were a lot of interesting and strange things going on around them that they had never seen before, they kept on racing.
“Stop following me!” they heard Opal yell back at them.
“Then stop stealing strange elements from a world that we've never been to and also stop trying to kill us!” Kalmar said, hysterically, while still running for his life.
“You really, honestly, think that I'm going to give up when I'm this close?” she said, raising an eyebrow at Kalmar.
“Well it would be nice if you would.” he said, even though he knew that she would never do this. She responded with just a laugh. She turned her head and went back to racing and just kept on running.
“I told you not to follow me!” she said coldly, still keeping her eyes on the path in front of her.
“You can't just tell us not to follow you when we see you on this strange box on the wall of Buttons and Needles Clothing Store, telling us that you have been going around ransacking research centers, looking for something that the news reporter apparently doesn't even know what it is!” Janner said.
“What! How do they know I've been doing that?” Opal said, mostly to herself. For the first time, Janner actually thought he heard a little bit of fear in her voice.
“They said that apparently, this person, meaning you, forgot about a thing called security cameras.” He replied, trying to imagine what a security camera would look like and what it actually did.
“Cameras... I've never heard of those. But if I was on that black box, and I've heard stories about those things, then that means they know what I was doing.” She said to herself, still running.
“Can we please stop running?” Sara asked, out of breath.
“No-no we cannot stop running, because if I do, you're going to steal the Dragalumium and then I'm never going to be able to power up my creations.” Opal said.
“Wait, what creations?” Janner asked, amazed at the fact that they had actually got Opal to reveal something.
“I'm working on this project and that's why I need this, okay." She said defensively and she still kept running.
At this point they had gone in a complete circle, on Main Street. But they soon noticed that the portal was not there.
“Where did it go?” Kalmar asked, when they finally stopped running.
“Portals don't always stay where they are, maybe it's somewhere else around here.” Esben said, as he put Leeli down from his back.
Opal reluctantly stopped running, turned around to them and said frowning, “The portal is still here, I just have to reopen it.”
“So why don't you?” Nia asked suspiciously.
Opal sighed and said, “So you don't want to stay a little longer?.. Fine, I'll open the portal back up. I have what I need.” Then she turned to the spot where there was a wall of the building. They were in a dark alleyway and there was a wall where they had originally come from. She waved her hands in the air, causing her power to burst out of her hands. Then she did the same motion that she did with the crystals back at the First Falls but this time, there were no crystals. Next thing they knew, there was a huge bluish green portal
swirling on the wall of the alleyway. “Be my guest.” Opal said, smartly, as she stood to the side and motioned for them to go through.
Going back into the portal was just like going into the portal. Except everything that they had just learned about the crazy world they knew and everything that they still didn't know about the Realm Between Worlds was no different. Janner was still perplexed and mind boggled when he passed through the portal, to see planets and stars and comets, all things he had never seen before. Next thing he knew, they were back on the soft green grass and in the midst of the forest of the Realm Between Worlds.
But one thing was different this time; somehow he was more sleepy than last time. Opal came through the portal next and she let her hair down and waved her hands over her outfit. It turned back to her signature dark purple dress, dark purple high heels and dark black cape.
She was searching around all the puddles to find Aerwiar’s puddle, when Kalmar wandered over to one of the puddles. He looked into it, and was amazed to see that in the puddle was a reflection of a green grassy land with a beautiful blue sky and a castle up on a little hill. It was a big castle and it was in gold and white and there were beautiful gold flags on top of the spires. But what amazed him the most was that the reflection had very few people in it. Most of the reflection just had animals. The one that impressed him the most was a golden-maned lion. It looked so kind and royal, he wanted to go to that world. So he decided that he was going to jump into the puddle!
In the corner of her eye, Opal saw this and she immediately yelled
“Stop!” and ran over to Kalmar and pushed him out of the way, forcing him to the ground.
“Hey, why did you do that?” he asked, as he brushed himself off.
“The other worlds aren't safe. There's no telling what these puddles could do; they could lead to any universe, any world or any galaxy. So no jumping in them!” she said sternly and walked back to Aerwiar’s puddle.
“I found the right one so if you would please stop fooling around and just jump in the puddle.” she said, as Kalmar walked back over to the rest of them. Opal gestured for them to go through the puddle. They all linked arms and stepped through the bright blue puddle.
Kalmar almost went to Narnia🤣
