Throne Wardens account. Pt. 2 (spoiler for the series)

Janner took a deep breath.

"Well, after I left the Fork Factory, I headed back to the Strander burrow that we had been staying in. When I found the house that had the door to the burrow, I discovered that my family had left. But, staying in the burrow was a Strander, named Nurgobog."

"Isn't that Maraly's grandmother?" Sara asked.

Janner nodded his head. "Yeah, and turns out that she and my grandfather had courted at some point when they were young. Well, she was there, and told me all that had happened. She also told me that Kalmer had been taken by Stranders and was about to be given over to the fangs. So, I left the burrow, and headed for the Strander camp. When I got there, I found Maraly in the cage, and she told me that Kalmer had been taken by the fangs. So, I let her out of the cage, and we ran into the woods. In the morning, we headed for the barrier, and once we crossed it, we headed to Kimera. When we were almost there, we ran into Gammon, who said that he'd been looking for me and Kal. We traveled with him to Kimera. After a day, when we were planning to go rescue Kal, Gammon captured us and kept us locked in a room tied up. It was around that time that uncle Artham got his wings, and when Kal was fanged. Well, Gammon had pulled us out of the room, and prepared to hand us over to the fangs."

Sara looked surprised at this.

Janner chuckled. "He wasn't actually gonna hand us over to them, it was apart of his plan to do a massive wipe-out on the fangs. And his plan worked. And so began the Battle of Kimera. We were quickly escorted to a boggan, that ran to a ship hidden in a port under the ice. That was when the sea dragons came. Yurgen wanted to kill my grandfather. Hulwen stopped him. Leeli played Yurgens Tune, and it calmed them all down. Then uncle Artham showed up with Kal. Kal didn't remember who he was, until weeks later, while I was recovering from cold sickness that I had caught when I jumped into the water to save him. We arrived in the Green Hollows, and lived peacefully for a while."
