I know a ton of others have put Cheesy Chowder recipies on here, but I have a relatively sorta kinda different one.
- Green Onion (However much you desire)
- 1/3 cupmof flour
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups of milk
- 3 cups of shredded cheese (any kind you want)
- Minced garlic (Add as much or as little as you want to, since garlic isn't everyone's favorite
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
- Crumbled up bacon (yum)
- 1/4 cup of butter
- Around 1/2 a cup of Carrots, celery, or whatever else.
(Very optional) 1/4 teaspoon of chili powder
Melt butter in a medium pot/saucepan on high heat, adding garlic, onions, and other vegetables. Stir it constantly until everything is soft and the butter is melted. Add the flour and cook while stirring constantly for about a minute or two. Then, add chicken broth and the milk. Continue to cook & stir until the concoction is thick. Add the salt, pepper, (optional chili powder), cheese, and bacon. Continue cooking until it's well mixed.
The final step is to enjoy it. That way, no one can complain about not liking it since they weren't following the directions.
That sounds scrumptious! I’ll definitely have to try it!
