So I kinda have writers block for both stories . . . I know what has to happen in Singing Stones and what I want to happen in Warden's Daughter (Lia trying to have a conversation with Peet). But I'm not sure if I just lost motivation at the moment, forgot how to write, life's too busy, or I'm just full blown stuck. If y'all have any ideas on where to go or how to-brain lag- um, write it or whatever, please tell me. (I need a better starting point than just before we get a story) I mean, unless Warden's daughter skips to the Dragon Day Festival and I can use the book more, my brain needs help braining. And it definitely needs some assistance in Singing Stones because I'm trying to do it how Esben saw it and would rather not go to Artham or someone else's perspective. (well, maybe Arundelle's.) Ideas for either story would be liked. Please comment any ideas no matter how strange they may be.

I think I figured something out! I'll read random parts of the saga sometimes either to fact check or for fun, and so I've listed some scenes that I've had the start of Ideas for and looked for them in the book for a starting point and added her POV into it where I can. I'm basing her kinda off of me just more protective and, you know, more Wingfeather-able. Here's a screenshot of how I have it down. I keep them in the same document (Along with SS) so I don't have to find it and they may overlap just because it's my thoughts and they work the way they do.
I shall beg you to release you from your writer's block!!!!
writer's block is the worst!!!! what I usually do is just start a short story (usually influenced by prompts) and that helps soften the dam in your head? idk that's what helps me a little
If I have writers block, it always helps me to chat with my best friend about the most random and nerdy things about my fandoms and hers, and then a random idea will strike me. For the convo with Peet, I would say have it happen sometime during the dragon day festival, maybe when Leeli wanders off. Then Lia would notice wait, where are the kids? And then the Slarb stuff could happen….maybe lol. Hope this helps!
So I've been in college doing engineering, which is already not very good for writing. So one of the stories I am writing, I have had writer's block for 7 months.
And the other day I finally had one of those moments where I was like WOAH. I KNOW WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN.
But I still can't write it yet due to the amount of homework I have. Hopefully over Christmas break, though.
Anyway, I don't have much experience, but my advice is this: go get bored.
Sit and let your mind wander. Don't think about the story you want to write - just think. Let your thoughts go where they want to, not where you tell them to.
You'll think of something.

I've been there. I recommend taking a day or two (if possible) just to relax. When you're tense and busy, your brain is in overdrive which means you may burn yourself out if you force it to overwork. It's annoying but your mind needs rest just like your body and soul do
