When Artham sees Arundelle for the first time in nine years. All the voices leave and he forgets his shame for good. Then he picks her up and kisses her! Several minutes go by and he then realizes people are cheering and they are in the air. I cried y’all. Such a beautiful scene! Everyone should reread it.
I really liked the get the boot scene in MitH. I also like the part where Artham, Sara, Maraly and Gammon explore the remains of the Glipwood Township.
How can I just pick one??? There are SO many good parts! If I had to pick two, they would probably be Artham getting wings, and the chapter Artham and the Deeps of Throg. Those were super powerful to me. But the whole series is so good! (It does sadden me that there was never a good ridgerunner, but the series was still great.)
If we're talking about the TV show then mine would definately be at the end when Artham is fighting all the Fangs and then Nia starts singing and it pairs the song with the fight scene.
My absolute favorite scene is surprisingly from my third favorite book 😅 It's in MitH when Esben is finally able to talk to his kids, but it's specifically what he says to Kal that breaks my heart 🥹 I can't quote it right now cause my mom has my book, but I just absolutely love that scene 🥹
I remember when my sister was listening to the audiobooks, her husband told her before he left for work that she would need tissues... suffice to say that she did, in fact, need tissues.
I listened to the audiobook the first time around, too, and I was stunned. I had to listen to the end three times just to wrap my head around it. I was babysitting that day, too, and I'm not sure how much attention I was able to give the kids! I probably walked around the house in a daze all day... Good thing the kids were old enough to not need me much!
All these parts mostly take place in Janner's head, and I'm worried that they won't be able to do justice to them in the show, because how do you animate a person's thoughts and emotions?
I actually thought he was going to be alive in N!obE when I saw the chapter title Esben Flavogle and then was kind of disapointed when I found out it was a fake name Janner gave himself. So I was really happy when he came back.

any time Janner is being a throne warden and punching some creep in the face. also when he dives after Kalmar
The part with the Maker in the warden and the wolf king

Almost every part that the family is together in The Monster in the Hollows.
any scene with Esben.

In the books, my favorite part is when the Maker speaks to Janner in the Fane of Fire.
In the TV series, so far, my favorite part is when Nia sings for Podo.

And, umm, that scene almost at the end was really powerful, too...
Janner outside the Fane of Fire.
Also Janner alone in the deeps of Throg.
The part in the coffin is very powerful, too!

When Leeli sings My Love has Gone Across the Sea over Esben.
I know this is going to come as a HUGE shocker.
But surprisingly, my favorite scene is-
ARTHAM TURNING INTO EAGLE-ARTHAM.
I NEED TO SEE IT IN THE SHOW.
I DON'T CARE HOW OFF TRACK FROM THE BOOKS THEY GET. I JUST NEED THAT SCENE FOR EDITING-
Ahem*
Yeah, I'm shushing now before I start ranting. 😂🤣
