Currently catching up on the livestream episodes.
Wow! I really love how much Dugtown looks like the second book's cover art. It translated well into episode form.
I can't believe how close we're getting to the Fork factory. I'm on the edge of my seat!
Unfortunately, I only vaguely remember what's in the books to compare it but maybe that's for the best with how much changes when a book is translated into a show.
Okay, Floridy boy just showed up! A mix of Wesley and Zorro, very nice lol. I love that guy lol. I did expect more William Shakespeare talk but over all, he did well!
Jumbled commentary but what did you guys think?
I love Dugtown's design too! SO many things in season two are eerily close to how I pictured them actually.
Oskar cracks me up so much. ๐คฃ The poor man doesn't know how to be discreet, yet at the same time he somehow doesn't make anyone suspicious of him??
Also he manages to stand up to Podo? What?!
I think Migg sounds like Henry Gowen from WCTH...
The Florid Sword is hilarious ๐ I was really looking forward to seeing and hearing him.
And then the ending....๐ญ
I had mixed feelings about how the fangs disposed of Migg. It wasn't technically true to the books, but it was kind of funny how they bopped him on the head and put him in the carriage that was conveniently waiting in front of the Roundish Widow. It reminded me of the figure that escorted misbehaving vegetables to the Island of Perpetual Tickling.
Yes! They did such a good job creating Dugtown! And the whole season really sticks very close to the books! (just minor adjustments; I can forgive them for letting them come out of the strander tunnel across the street instead of across town, are letting them stay in a house instead of a burrow) The whole season is just beautiful!!!
Of course, this is the part where I say that you need to finish reading the series so you can reread the books to see how close they kept the story! ๐
Oh, and the Fork! Factory! is AWESOME! I've seen it already, and I'm telling you, KEEP WATCHING!
