...I would like to ask you something. I know that there are some here who don't like the show for various reasons. *cough* @Throne Warden (ᛗᛟᛟᚾᚷᛚᚨᛞᛖ ᚲᛚᚨᚾ) *cough* (😉😁) Even though I love the show, I will respect your opinion, but as your friend, I want to ask you a question.
What is one thing from or about the show that you did like? Cause I know that there has to be something that you did like. Even just a small tiny thing, was there something about it that you liked?
Although there are things I wish they had done differently, this one word will explain why I like it:
OSKAR!!!!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
As everyone knows, I love the show overall. I think they got off to a really good start, and I don't like to complain because I know that they've worked so hard to make it this good. As a hardcore fan of the books, though, there are some things about the series that I disagree with.
One thing I really liked about it was Alkaio's performance of Janner. He was so good!
Another thing I liked was how it felt like the books. It might have not had all the events in the same order, but sort of how Peter Jackson's LOTR trilogy felt like LOTR, the tv series felt like Wingfeather.
And also, the animation and the music.
It's interesting, if you look at YT comments and stuff, you can see people complaining about changes they made here, or how they didn't do this here. Honestly, compared to how other books get sliced, diced and butchered, roasted to charcoal, and absolutely destroyed, WFS has done pretty good so far. For something that hasn't written with a animated adaptation in mind, they did mention they had to make a couple of changes, but the heart of the story is still there. The only things I will point out right now is the lack of the Black Carraige rhyme (explained) and Cara Sobbler (unexplained)
I like the show overall, and I think that Podo and Oskar are the highlights of season 1. I don't like the kid characters in the film as much as I do in the books since they seemed to change some of their personality traits significantly.
I liked kal, but thats about it......
I like Leeli.
Peet the Sockman. 😁
That Sara liked books. In the actual book series, it never stated whether she actually liked books or not, but in the show, the first episode, we see her coming out of Oskar's shop with some books.
I don't know why, that just stuck out to me.
Oh, and how they bring in some other characters, like Ferinia, and the Blaggus boys, more into the show, so we understand their characters more.
