So something recently hit me.
The song My Love has Gone Across the Sea is very relevant for Esben and Nia.
But I realized that there's another couple in the series that fits it better.
Janner and Sara
Look at the lyrics
My love has gone across the sea
To find a country far and fair
He sailed out into the gilded west
And lo, my heart will never rest
Until my love returns to me
Or I set out to find him there
Janner LITERLLY sets out to a country far and fair (the Green Hollows)
And in book 4 it said that Sara felt restless until she set out for Anniera. P.S. I didn't use the second group on verses (I forgot what it's called).
Through tow'ring wave and shriek of gale
I'll aim my vessel ever west
And steer it by that cord that bound
My heart to yours, until you're found
And should you find my body pale
And wrecked upon the loamy shale
Rejoice, my love, and call me blessed
In death, my love, I loved you best
Sara sailed to Anniera, only to find Janner had died! (I still think he comes back)
And there DEFINANTLY was a cord binding their hearts, because they are CONSTANTLY thinking about each other!
*gasp* WHAT?!?! That's so cool to think of it that way!
