No, this is nothing like Oskar's "itch crusade."
When I get really obsessed with things (books, TV series, movies, etc.) I start paying attetion to details I wouldn't otherwise look at. I also start thinking about weird things like: did Leeli and Nia take showers when they were on the run in N!obE? How dirty did their hair get??? I mean, they were traveling for a while.
So on and so forth.
Anyway, a random little thing I thought up is whether Janner is left- or right-handed. I saw a few things that Peterson put into the books (and also a little thing in the TV show), and I'm curious to see whether or not anyone else noticed them.
So the big question is: do you think Janner is left- or right-hand dominant?(ambidextrous is also an option)
Yeah....so not a very big question. But I'm still curious to see what others think and if my opinion is only my crusade. I'd like to know if I'm the only one wandering around aimlessly with this idea.
p.s.: Janner is my favorite so I spend waaaay too much time thinking about this sort of stuff.
p.p.s: Ellie, you're probably getting sick of seeing this question/idea because you've read it so many times in my fanfiction XD
Is Rudric left-handed?
In this illustration he has his sword on his left side, so he's likely right-handed.
I always assume everyone's right-handed unless told otherwise 😂😂😂 But I have noticed that Andrew is left-handed, so Janner could have inherited it 🤔
🤔 That's an interesting question!
I think he's right handed, since it's more common to be right handed.
Nia and Leeli got very, very dirty! They probably only bathed when the river was calm enough to be safe to bathe in. In that case, Nia would have insisted. (Except when Podo made them stay dirty for their disguise!) Also, if you don't use oil-stripping shampoo (like most shampoo in stores), your hair won't produce oil as quickly to compensate, and your hair won't need washed as often. I only wash mine about once a week. So Nia and Leeli probably didn't have to worry so much about their hair, except, of course, for all the mud plastered in it. :)
I think if Janner was ambidextrous, it would have been mentioned in the books - it would have given him a big advantage in several instances! The picture on page 322 of book 4 (new edition) seems to indicate that Janner was right handed, but of course, the illustrations don't always match what actually happened in the story! (See the illustration on page 252 of book 3; someone's missing a gag) I would guess that Janner is right handed, because most people are, but he could very well be left handed. In the show, Janner held the sword in the catacombs with both his right and left hands, and seemed to have the same control with both hands, but I think that's most likely to be a mistake on the part of the animators. True ambidextrousness is very rare!
By the way, what did you see in the books that indicates handedness? I'm curious!
I would say he's right handed (but that's just me, since right handed people are more common than left handed.)
Hm, good question! I think he's probably right hand dominant.
Lol I'm not sick of it, it's just you've asked it SO MANY TIMES.
Lol
