I finished The Prince of Yorsha Doon. It was really good. I liked it. Now I'm reading The Wooing of Sophelia Stupe, and there's a plot hole. It mentions Edd Helmer, the father of Podo Helmer, but this story is set in the Third Epoch, so that would mean that Podo would be born about 400-700 years into Edd's life, which does NOT make sense at all, unless Podo is REALLY old. And also, in OtEotDSoD, it says that the Igiby Cottage was built by Podo's great-great-great-grandparents, but in WFT, it says that it was built by Edd Helmer. So I thought that there must be two Edds: Edd Helmer I (Podo's great-great-great-grandfather) and Edd Helmer II (Podo's father). But that theory was dashed to pieces when I read the line "I'll never finish that cottage for Yamsa now." This line tells us that Edd I's wife's name is Yamsa, the same name as Edd II's wife, so it would be a HUGE coincidence if they were different people because their wives would have the same name. 🍪

Keep in mind, the Wooing of Sophelia Stupe wasn't written by Andrew Peterson! I would guess that he didn't catch that in editing.
