I just finished this book again, and realized that the green fangs were ravaging settlements and villages during winter, and not a warm climate, wet, rainy winter, but a cold, snowy, you-can-die-of-the-cold sort of winter. Specifically, they attacked during a blizzard and killed an old man and kidnapped a girl. How did they manage this, since green fangs obviously can't handle the cold?

Maybe they brought fire-breathing dragon fangs with them, who could produce enough heat to keep them all warm?
I would guess that there was something to do with gray Fangs as well.
Or, perhaps, it was (for some reason) warm, and then a sudden blizzard struck, forcing them to get to shelter, which the nearest village provided... along with providing more people to subdue.
Also....... good question 😂
I love that story!
Simplest answer: McKelvey probably didn't realize that 😂
In-universe answer: I have no clue 😄
Well, when I'm cold I just keep busy to warm up. I'm sure a raid would help with that.
Maybe they had fluffy coats their mothers made them?
