Recently got into online art:

This one is the fourth I have done. The third I can't show you because I was copying a picture of me to practice.

This is the latest that I have done. Basically vibes alone. No idea where it was gonna go until the end loll 😂 😅

Again, no gentling of terrible things here. It's a light tone, but the words are dark. The poem is so horrid-who would write that to scare kids?

The carriage rattling and the crows cawing is such a specific mood that instantly feels won't. Honestly, it scares me, and I have nothin to fear.

I had forgotten that Tink snores 😂🤣

Janner is the only one awake. That feels significant. He is the only one aware of the danger, except maybe his mom and Podo.

Another things about the carriage is that it would be even more distinctive of a sound, as it's the only vehicle allowed out after curfew.

Final thoughts: This chapter sets the mood. I know where the story goes, and I think it almost foreshadows to when the carriage IS coming after them. This night is the last normal night they will have before it all changes,…

I like how the first sentences set the tone nearly immediately. You already know it's going to be a funny tale, but there is a sneaking suspicion that this take is more serious than it looks.

Also, "children's parents cousins" is delightfully Tolkienish.

We also learn where Wingfeather comes from on the very first page. I don't think I caught that on my first read through.

I also have always loved the contradiction that is later not a contradiction and the greatest contradiction of all.

Greetings!! We have to do make symbols based on lyrics to a song in art, which I’ve actually quite enjoyed. My chosen song was Blood and Bone by Nathan Evans and SAINT PHINX (thinking I spelt that right) and I would reccomend listening to it, I like their music. But anywhoodles, these were my sketches for it

So today I am going to recommend the Fireborn epic by Gillian Brontë Adam’s!

I’ve only read the first book, and aside from a VERY detailed writing style and mentions of false gods, this a pretty good High Christian Fanatasy.

I like the use of horses instead of dragons and the characters were very well written. I really think a lot of peo0e would enjoy it if peo0e gave it a chance! :D
