We’ve had some questions about non-Wingfeather media-centered posts on the site, like for non-Wingfeather fan art, movie quote contests, etc. These types of posts have usually been put into categories like Form, Polls and Contests, and General Memes. It’s gotten tricky because since we don’t have categories for video games and movies, we don’t have any specific rules for what kinds of video games and movies can be discussed in those posts. This has caused some confusion for our members!
After some discussion, we’ve decided to no longer allow media-centered posts besides Wingfeather, Wingfeather-related, and Christian media posts. Brief mentions of clean media is okay in the comments (related to the original post), but keep in mind that different people will be comfortable with different things. Use discernment in any media you find mentioned here, and we recommend checking out reviews from Christian sites like pluggedin.com. Moderators will also do their best to keep on top of what is discussed, and remember, posts still need to relate to their specific categories!
And feel free to keep creating fan art for each other’s stories! We love seeing those! And do you have more original art or art tutorials? We want those too! 😀
