Sorry about the long break! I have had writers block of two kinds. My parents asked me to take a "until further notice" break from TTH, and I also have had the normal kind of writers block. I wrote this, but it is from my sisters perspective, I think. Enjoy this long delayed update!
Rebekah startled awake, as pandemonium broke out around her. She sat up quickly but was nearly knocked out by Leeli, who was hugging her tight for some reason, and yabbering so fast that Rebekah couldn't understand her. "Grampa's better!!!" she squealed in absolute delight, "Mr P savim wi some special water! Nugge'sALIVE!!!" a loud woof that sounded like thunder echoed through the room, startling her. She looked for Gracie, but couldn't find her for one long second before she saw her tucked behind Nia's skirts, scared stiff. Nia didn't even notice her sister as she lectured Podo on holding grudges against housing agents, or something like that, she didn't pay too close of attention. Gracie was peeping around Nia at something outside of Rebekah's view. Rebekah went over and looked around the corner, out of the door, and almost, ALMOST, squealed. She saw a giant black, brown, and white dog, leaning over the edge of the basement sides where the house used to be. She realized that the house was completely gone, but she was still very aware of the giant puppy. Leeli complained that they couldn't reach Nugget yet, and Rebekah completely understood. She went over to Podo, who was still arguing with Nia, and patted his arm. "Ay?!" he looked at her, and his eyes showed confusion. She looked at him thoughtfully and then pointed out, and then up, clearly stating what she wanted. Leeli limped over behind her and said, "Please stop arguing about what is going to happen Granpa and please get us out of here!" He huffed in amusement at the two of them, sighed in defeat at Nia, and then came out, and pointedly ignoring Peet, helped them all out of the cellar. Leeli squealed and ran over to Nugget at full speed dragging Rebekah, hugging him forcefully. Rebekah, a slightly bit forced, went over to stroke Nugget. Leeli clambered on top of Nugget and pulled her up. Eyes wide, Rebekah rode the giant dog with her mouth agape in shock. Gracie was still terrified of Nugget. Gracie's still out of sight, Rebekah thought, Nugget wouldn't hurt her! Leeli might though... She knew why Gracie was so scared. It wasn't that Nugget was big, but that Gracie was scared of all dogs, even their neighbor's choowawae at home. She shook her hair with a small smile, she was riding a dog today! She had always wanted to ride a dog. (Or have 2 pull a small sled, but that is beside the point) She was over the surprise and confusion/fear yesterday that had kept her from doing much of anything. She should be grateful as cheese for what she had, even though getting gifts in a portal, meeting another family in another dimension that are running away from zoids, and have a uncle that is partially bird, and bunnies that could eat a horse but started crying if you whistled a sad tune or looked glum at all, was slightly strange! But she had her sister, and this glorious/terrifying ride on a giant dog-steed, had royal (she was sure of it) friends from another world, and joy filled her heart. She mused for a while about the strange things that had happened. She hadn't always been as talkative as her sister, but had never had a problem with speaking her opinions. She used to have to be able to do that with Gracie for a sister, as Gracie liked to talk, and talk over you if you disagreed with her. Rebekah had known that she would likely get overrun if she didn't speak out, and unfortunately, this had caused the sisters to have a divide between them that they had struggled to close. However, ever since they had passed through the waters, she had felt that divide completely close, to the point she trusted Gracie to talk for the both of them, which she never would have done a day ago. She would have spoken out to prevent Gracie from putting words in her mouth, but not anymore. Not only that, but she found she felt much closer to Gracie than she had to anyone else, and that was weird. She also hadn't said anything... Starting, she found herself looking at Gracie, and a small pang of worry for her sister sprung up. Gracie was quiet, which wasn't odd considering how she felt, but she found herself worried about what she read on Gracie's face. Rebekah found that she could almost, sorta read Gracie's mind, and all she read there was a blank, flat sea, but under the surface, turmoil rising rapidly. Before she could respond to whatever was going on in her sisters mind, they arrived at their destination, and she quickly forgot what she had been worried about as she gazed in awe at the castle built in the trees. Kalmar whooped.

This was fun writing from Rebekah's point of view. I was going to have her write it, but this was good. I definitely am glad I'm having her edit this to make sure I didn't write her thought life down improperly! She makes this ten times better, and adds a whole lot of humor to the story. A panic attack is coming in Peets treehouse, probably next chapter!!! Guess who!!!

We had a lot of disagreements over weather. I should be or not be talking and things like that because Gracie wrote my part and I edited it "Half to death" as Gracie puts it, but I think the story will be good. And even though we are disagreeing on some things, we still love each other. Maybe. Ok we still do.
