Chapter Two, Brotherly Shove
The last details were added to the drawing. It finally looked whole. Esben gazed at it for a few minutes, then gently placed it in a folder. He then walked to his bookshelf made of smaan wood, (a sturdy tree only grown in Ban Rugan) and tried to stuff it in.
"Huh, where to put them now?" he said to himself, not caring to be quiet for his late awaking brother. He then began laughing. Artham had stuffed five of his own books in Esben's shelf. He looked at his brother's shelf, stuffed to the max in any way a book could fit (like the bookshelves in the Thwap House Inn, explanation coming soon).
He saw his brother in the bed, still snoring, well into 1 P.M. His laughing intensified.
He pulled the five books Artham had stuffed in his shelf and slammed them down on the bed.
"WAKE UP ARTHAM!" he yelled.
"Quiet, you'll wake everyone up," Artham mumbled, eyes still closed.
"Everyone's already awake," Esben laughed. "You're getting quite lazy lately."
"How?" Artham said, starting to get up.
"All you do is read all day," Esben replied, finally putting his folder into his shelf.
"You call reading lazy?!" Artham shouted, inspecting the books slammed down on his bed to make sure they weren't damaged.
"Well, yes, which is why I don't do it all day," Esben answered.
"Well, then drawing is lazy too!" Artham said, finally getting out of bed.
"It's entirely different."
"Yeah right," Artham mumbled under his breath.
