Hey guys, I’m relatively new here, but I just wanted to know your guys’s thoughts on the ending of the warden and the Wolf King. I don’t wanna spoil it for people who haven’t finished the series yet, but we all know that the ending was kind of a slap in the face. I mean me personally I cried for a while, but I also know that it was a good ending. Even though Janner has been my favorite character for almost 5 years and he will continue to be my favorite character. I do think that the ending was perfect. It highlighted all of Jenners amazing qualities and proved that he really would do anything for his little brother. Also, when they were talking about the seed being planted that needed to happen in order to save the world I just don’t think it would be the same effect if Kalmar had saved everyone. I do wish that there was an alternative way, but I’m not sure I give full respect to Andrew Peterson. And I love the books so I can’t complain. I just remember that it was really really sad for me. But what are your thoughts?

I did not physically cry. Mentally and emotionally, I was in shock.
As my fellows hath proclaimed, 'tis evidence in Mr. Peterson's masterful mastery for the happier ending.
