Is it just me or is it really ironic that Gnag, looking to be beautiful, merged himself with Yurgen and became extremely... well- not beautiful? 😅 I realise him melding with Yurgen wasn't so he'd be beautiful... but it's still funny to think about, no?

Anyway… here are my ACTUAL thoughts:
First of all, WHYYYYYYYY?!? Janner literally was one of my favourites! I was hesitant to talk about it, but then I remembered I gave a spoiler warning ahead of time. Anyway, his whole death scene did kind of tie off the whole sacrifice basis of the story. And that ending line? Pure gold. Yeah it sucks that Janner died… but at least it was noble and not the result of some stupid accident! The whole Gnag thing wasn’t my thoughts… so I have no idea why I put it up there 🤷♀️
He certainly is not pretty! But then, he probably had a pretty twisted view of beauty! He wanted the beauty of power. (TWatWK p. 405)
You still have to feel bad for him, though! That poor child gave himself a name as hideous as he believed himself to be! (and then made himself that hideous, too!)
LOL! No, he is VERY ugly 😅
Yurgen was majestic. His own wretchedness more than balanced it out I guess.
Agreed. Pretty bad move.
Truly a bad move. I can’t believe how corrupt his life was, and I can’t believe what all that corruption drove him to become.
yeah, merging with Yurgen wasn't a great beauty choice XD
