We know that during a melding, the animal (or dragon, or person, or tree or whatever) that the singer melded with had some or all of its life drained from it, and the singer had the life, or the 'blood' of the other creature transferred to them. "Sing the song of the Ancient Stones, and the blood of the beast imbues your bones." But what do you think would happen if both parties to the meld sang? Would they each meld with the other? Would it be a contest of who could sing the loudest or with the strongest intent? Yurgen tried to hum along, but he didn't quite know the song and he didn't sing. What do you think?

That’s a good question! You also have to consider if both of their hearts are in it, too. So, obviously, if someone is being melded with an animal or plant that can’t speak or sing, then that animal will be melded with the human. (The human will become the Fang, not the animal becoming half-human.)
But I see your point with Gnag and Yurgen… I don’t see how Yurgen or any of the dragons would learn about the Song of the Ancient Stones. So I think Yurgen just hummed because he didn’t know it (and for dramatic effect, of course tips hat with a rascally smile). But if an animal or human WERE to meld and they both knew the song and sang at the same time… perhaps they would both die??? Because the wolf or lizard or bat (or whatever) eventually was “shrivelled” after a few Fangings. So… I think they might both shrivel up and… die. Sorry if that sounds violent.
But I wonder what would happen if two humans were melded together… Or what if twins melded together…🤔🤔🤔
