February 2023 Newsletter

Hello again Thwap House members! Here we are at the end of February already and what a month it’s been!

Episodes four and five of The Wingfeather Saga released on the 10th and 24th of this month! The action has really begun to pick up and we can’t wait for the finale on the 10th of March! If you haven't caught up yet you can watch all the episodes here

After both episodes four and five we hosted Thwapmoots where our members got to join a video call and chat about the episodes and more! Thank you to everyone who participated!

Janna The Heart continues to engross us in her exciting story, “The Mystery of the House on Road Street and her fanfic “The Lore Wain and Her Nephew.”

Kalmar Lowell (A Grey Fang Viking) has drawn us even farther in to his deep and captivating fanfic, “The Quest, or perhaps The Task Set Before Her.”

Leeli Iggyfeather’s fanfic, “Across the Sea” never fails to draw our minds out to the high seas and adventure!

Oskar began a several part short series about the life of our favorite bookseller, Oskar N. Reteep! beginning with a tale from his youth!

Kylie Anne (Kaladan) has written several short fanfics and is currently writing a several part origin story of The Florid Sword!

TWW (Madya) Attorney at Law has also shared a variety of short stories from the world of Aerwiar! Following her role play character and more!

Addy Hawthorne has also begun posting a new story and exciting story called "The Leather Journal."

In the role play arena our members characters have done all sorts of thinks, from traveling to Kimera to fighting stranders with honeymuffins!

The gnomes have made quite a comeback this month! But thankfully our Isengard representative Lurtz has made a series of posts informing us of their different kinds and their strengths and weaknesses, our brave members have always been able to fight them off so far!

Lurtz also wrote several more parts for his fun series of short stories following Gertrude Mcgillicudy, a schizophrenic Irish girl and her always hungry and ready to give advice talking hedgehog Sebastian. We always enjoy them Lurtz!

Addy Hawthorne, Judah Falconero (Biragious) and others have been posting their fan art! We most certainly have some amazing artists and can't wait to see what you sketch, draw or paint next!

Speaking of art, the winner of the T.H.A.G.S winter contest was announced this month! Huge congratulations to Judah Falconero (Biragious) on winning with his amazing sea dragon drawing and many thanks to everyone who participated! If you want to see the winners and runners up, click here.

We had a few wars break out from pies flying in a cat vs dog war, to stopping those gnomes with maggot loaf guns, our members most definitely have lively imaginations!

We are always excited to see our members enthusiasm on The Thwap House, whether it’s sharing and discussing favorite foods or telling tales of heroism and daring! We can’t wait to see what all you share in this next month!
