In a recent livestream, Chris Wall announced that "a new featurette" trailer will be out sometime next week! He says that it will feature footage from both the first and second episodes, whereas the first teaser trailer only included footage from episode one, "Leeli and the Dragon Song".
Chris Wall also mentioned that they have recently casted another character for season two.
"We are bringing a character... that doesn't show up until book 2, but we opted to bring that character forward into season 1. We just casted this amazing actor for that role last week, and that character will be a part of one of the episodes [of season 1]."
When someone asked him whether the character was Gammon, he said no, but added that Gammon will indeed make a short cameo in season 1.
